Top of the line Minolta SLR of the early 80's, X-700 is the camera of choice for an advanced amateur photographer. It is a final high-spec manual focus model manufactured by Minolta before the company introduced auto-focus cameras. Three shooting modes (including Program) and a very bright viewfinder make it very convenient to use for both amateurs and experienced film shooters.
Shutter, meter, film transport, timer all work properly. Light seals are in good condition, but can be replaced at buyer's request ($25 extra).
EXC. No dents or major blemishes, just some brassing on the film door hinge. Bright and clear lettering on the dials. Focusing screen and viewfinder are bright with just a few small specs of dust which will not affect shooting. Original leatherette is in very shape (some discoloration on the back).
- Minolta MD 50mm f/1.7 prime lens. VG condition, scratch-free glass. There is a tiny patch of filamentous fungus on the periphery of the front element (will not affect performance). Aperture is snappy and blades are oil-free. Focusing is smooth. The barrel of the lens shows minor signs of use. Genuine Minolta front and rear caps, and two filters: UV and polarizer are included.
- Minolta MD Celtic 28mm f/2.8 wide-angle prime lens. VG condition, clear glass, no fungus. Some cleaning marks (fine scratches) on the front element, which will not affect performance of the lens. Aperture is snappy and blades are oil-free. Focusing is smooth. The barrel of the lens shows average signs of use, som epaint loss on the front rim, no dents. Genuine Minolta front and rear caps included.
- Sunpak power flash (works great, batteries not included). Minolta camera strap, body cap, factory manuals for camera and flash, a set of fresh batteries.
