Minolta XD11, just restored for your enjoyment. Co-developed with Leica, XD series cameras were revolutionary at the time and is still widely considered to among the best film cameras Minolta ever produced. They were the first Minolta SLRs to feature automated shutter-priority mode. Excellent choice for a student or advanced film shooter.
Shutter, meter and film transport work properly. Self-timer works, but very sluggish. Brand new light seals and mirror guard installed ($25 value).
Excellent. No major cosmetic blemishes, just some chrome and paint and brassing near strap lugs and on sides of the camera. Clear and legible lettering on the dials. Focusing screen and viewfinder are clear, with just a few tiny specs of dust (no effect on operation). Original leatherette was professionally replaced with a new Distressed Brown deerskin leather.
- Minolta MD Rokkor-X 45mm f/2 prime lens. Seldom seen with this camera, excellent compact ("pancake") lens in overall EXC++ condition, with scratch-free glass. No fungus, aperture is snappy, blades are oil-free. Focusing is a bit tight but smooth. The barrel shows minimal wear, no dents. Original vintage Minolta front cap is included, as well as Hoya Skylight filter.
- FREE BONUS: Albinar power flash. Clean and operates properly, some corrosion in the battery compartment and average wear. Batteries not included.
