Another copy of Minolta XD11 - this one is a rare black body with two lenses! Co-developed with Leica, XD series cameras were revolutionary at the time and is still widely considered to among the best film cameras Minolta ever produced. They were the first Minolta SLRs to feature automated shutter-priority mode. Excellent choice for a student or advanced film shooter.
Shutter, meter, self-timer and film transport work properly. Brand new light seals and mirror guard installed ($25 value).
Excellent. No major cosmetic blemishes, just minor brassing on the bottom corners. Clear and legible lettering on the dials. Focusing screen and viewfinder are bright and clear of dust. Original leatherette was professionally replaced with brand new plush black synthetic leather.
- Two lenses: Minolta MD Rokkor-X 45mm f/2.0 pancake prime and MD 28mm f/2.8 wide-angle. Both lenses are in EXC condition, with clear, scratch-free glass. No fungus, oil-free aperture, smooth focus. The wide-angle lens has been "de-clicked", so the aperture is continuously adjustable. The barrels show normal wear, no major blemishes, filter threads are intact. Minolta front caps are included, as well as Hoya Skylight filters for both lenses and a rear cap for the wide-angle prime. Great compact set up for street photography and architecture/landscape shooting.
- Genuine Minolta camera strap, camera case (a bit sticky on the edges), factory manual and a set of fresh batteries.
