A true classic, a desirable Pentax K1000. We have several of these cameras available, in EXC+ restored condition, fully functional and ready to go. Shutter seems to fire accurately at all speeds, film advance, rewind and meter work properly (meter accuracy was not verified). Viewfinder and focusing screen are bright and clear, with just a couple fo small specs of dust. Light seals were just replaced. The cameras typically come with a Pentax-M 50mm f/2.0 standard prime lens, but could be replaced with Pentax-A version or 55mm lens (will advise). Lens glass is in excellent condition, no visible scratches or fungus, blades are free from oil. Focusing is smooth, aperture action is snappy. Barrel is clean, with age-appropriate signs of use, but no major scratches or dents.

Cosmetically the body of the camera is in very good condition with no major flaws. Minor signs of use like small scuffs, paint loss around the film door or chrome pitting on top may be present. We have cameras in original leatherette, or stripped, to be professionally replaced with brand new cover made of genuine leather of your choice. Let us know if you prefer factory cover. Camera strap and fresh battery for the meter are included. Perfect beginner or student film SLR, customized to your taste.
