Pentax K1000 SE / Diamond Leatherette
Holy Grail of vintage Pentax cameras, this ultra-rare Pentax K1000 Special Edition in factory "Diamond" leatherette is in near-mint cosmetic and functional condition. Very limited production run, circa late 1970's. Don't miss the chance to acquire one - they are getting exceedingly rare and one in this condition is unlikely to be available again any time soon! Perfect present for a film camera buff in your family.
Shutter and film transport work properly. Meter works and appears accurate, responds to light, lens aperture and shutter speed settings (accuracy was not verified with film). Light seals (including internal, around the prism) and mirror guard have been replaced.
Near-mint. No dents or other major blemishes. Just a tiny amount of brassing on the film door corners. Clean and sharp lettering on the shutter speed dial. Focusing screen and viewfinder are pristine. Original "Diamond" leatherette is in excellent condition. NOTE: "SE" sticker on the front of the camera is missing.
- SMC Pentax 50mm f/1.4 normal prime lens. Near-mint condition to match the camera, scratch-free glass, no fungus is noticeable. Aperture is snappy and blades are free from oil. Focusing is smooth. The barrel of the lens shows practically no wear. The lens comes with original 52mm Pentax front and rear caps and Tiffen UV filter. Gorgeous, high quality lens, made in Japan.
- Pentax body cap, rare Asahi Pentax M42 lens adapter, camera case (average condition, sticky edges), roll of film (expired, use at your own risk) and fresh battery for the meter.
