Yashica FX-1 film SLR in excellent restored condition. Rare model with battery compartment built into a rewind knob! Original model in the Yashica FX series that followed very popular FR series. Robust construction, aperture-priority shooting, full range of manual shutter speeds, exposure compensation, built-in self-timer, aperture and shutter speed indication in the viewfinder - great model to learn film photography. FUNCTION
Shutter, film transport and nd self-timer work properly. Meter appears to respond properly to light, shetter and lens settings, but accuracy was not verified with film. Brand new seals and mirror guard installed for years of trouble-free operation.
 

COSMETICS
EXC. Minor chrome pitting on the top, no visible dents or major scratches. Bright and clean lettering on the dials. Focusing screen has minor yellowing on the periphery from previous cleaning, but is scratch- and dust-free. Original leatherette is in excellent condition.

• Yashica YUS 28mm f/2.8 wide-angle prime lens. Excellent condition, scratch-free optics, no fungus. Aperture is snappy and oil-free. Focusing is smooth. The barrel of the lens shows minor wear, no dents. Generic front and rear caps are included, as well as Soligor UV and Tiffen polarizing filter in 58mm size.
• Original Yashica camera strap and case (rough shape), factory manual and user guide, body cap and a fresh battery for the camera.
